Stella McCartney on fashion’s steep environmental toll: ‘We don’t have 20 years to wait’
Stella McCartney has been a fashion designer for 30 years. Throughout her 30-year career she has refused to use leather. She refuses to use anything that may contribute to our global greenhouse gas emissions. She believes the fashion industry has contributed enough by not using sustainable practices. Stella has a passion for animal rights and for that reason she wants fashion to become more sustainable.
